EVENT THEME: BEYOND THE HORIZON
A Vision For Yourself and For Hawai'i
Beyond the Horizon: A Vision For Yourself and For Hawai'i is the theme for this year's conference. The team of Emerge believes in recognizing the student voice and elevating them to a level where they're encouraged to see beyond themselves and what they can see. Leaders alike can attest to the practice of imagining the "What If's..." and discovering that change is possible. Join us for an event that elevates, encourages, and engages youth to practice possibility thinking and apply it to their personal and academic life.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from 20 visionary local leaders who are actively building a community with a strong sense of innovation and direction for Hawaii. Below are just some of the leaders speaking at the conference!

Interested in bringing students to EMERGE? Please make sure to first have all students sign-up individually here on our website and have students and their parents sign our CTL Waiver. Make sure to first register on our website here and submit all necessary paperwork including your school permission slip, signed by your parents, and our CTL Waiver. Q: Who are the organizers behind this event?
A: This is a partnership between McKinley High School and The Center For Tomorrow's Leaders.
Q: Who can attend this event?
A: Any high school student attending school in Hawai'i and school teachers and chaperones.

A: Friday, October 28, 2016 5PM
Q: Is there a cost to attend?
A: Yes, it's $25. We accept payment through credit card through Eventbrite (There is a $1.97 fee through them). Or by check through mail or in-person to a CTL representative.
Q: What's included with the $25 (aside from Conference attendance)?
A: EMERGE swag, light breakfast, lunch, and beverages.
Q: What time does EMERGE start and end?
A: The conference starts at 730 AM and ends at 3 PM.
Q: Do you provide transportation if I plan to take my class of students?
A: No, we ask that schools and individuals arrange their own transportation.
